What's Going On? Programming Education 〜 Let's Learn Through the Programming Language 'Scratch' 〜

Information Education and Programming
Since April 2020, programming education has become compulsory in elementary schools, and starting in 2025, information will be included in the universal college entrance examination, indicating significant changes in education related to information. In this course, we will first review the history of information education and programming education in Japan, and in the second half, we will use Scratch, which is widely used in many classrooms, to experience programming hands-on. The target audience is the general public (high school students and above). A lottery will be held for 30 participants. The application deadline is Monday, July 28. *Please bring your own computer.
