2025 Togakushi Ancient Trail Grand Walk
Feel the summer breeze and walk the Togakushi Ancient Trail
A 2-day walking event starting from Zenkoji with a guide to aim for Togakushi Shrine Okusha. On the first day, depart from Zenkoji and feel the early summer of Shinshu, reaching the first torii gate of Togakushi Shrine (10.2 km). On the second day, from the first torii gate, pass through the sacred grove and the cedar avenue to reach Togakushi Shrine Okusha (14.2 km). Meeting both days at 8:00, start at 9:00. Participation is open to elementary school students and older. A healthy person who can walk about 15 km in 5 hours. Let's enjoy the fresh greenery while walking leisurely. ■Notes Applications will be accepted until May 31 (Saturday) via the website, mail, or fax.
Zenkoji to Togakushi
About 30 minutes from the Joshinetsu Expressway "Nagano IC".
From the JR Nagano Station Zenkoji Exit, take bus stop 1 towards Ugi and get off at "Zenkoji Kita", then walk for 5 minutes.
