Nagayo River Festival
Building a hometown where hearts connect
In gratitude for the Nagayo River, which is the source of Nagayo Town's rich water resources, the Nagayo River Festival is held every year to promote a hometown where everyone can participate joyfully and connect with each other. The festival begins with religious ceremonies and volunteer clean-up of the Nagayo River in the morning, followed by the festival starting in the evening at a different venue. The stage features a variety of events including band performances, dances, karaoke shows, and bon dances. The fireworks that light up the night sky and Omura Bay conclude the event.
