[Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom] Weeping Cherry Trees at the Tanaka Honke Japanese Garden

The Tanaka Honke, a wealthy merchant, hosted feudal lords and others in this garden. There are three weeping cherry trees over 300 years old, along with rare pure white weeping cherries and pink weeping cherries that adorn the garden. It is about a 30-minute drive from Zenkoji and about 15 minutes from Obuse Town, providing a place to feel the arrival of spring away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is also an exhibition hall displaying items related to the Tanaka Honke.
