200 double cherry blossoms coloring the Tenryū River
The Tenryū Gorge Yaezakura Street Sakura Festival offers a stunning view of 200 double cherry blossoms of various varieties along a 2km stretch coloring the Tenryū River. The festival features a variety of performances by local elementary and middle school students, including music, dance, and taiko drumming. At night, the cherry blossom trees are illuminated, providing a different scenery than during the day. A rugby tournament will also be held at the Imada Hei Riverside Ground.
