Shimotsu Furusato Festival

An annual summer festival held in the Shimotsu district of Kainan City. It is enjoyable for all generations, from children to adults, with content that fosters a love for the hometown. Live painting, candy throwing, free distribution of mandarin juice, performances by the public including singing, dancing, bon odori, a fun lottery, stalls by local businesses, and street vendors are planned.
