[Cherry Blossom - Best Viewing] Imayama Mountain Cherry

Imayama Mountain Cherry is located at the roadside of the town road in front of Imayama Shrine, with a trunk circumference of approximately 1.8m and a height of about 13m. The flower color is white, and the new shoots are brown and hairless. The flowers cluster together in a spherical shape, and the flowering period is approximately two weeks later than early blooming varieties. On September 30, 2009, it was designated as a natural monument of the city.
