This event connects with the Kochi Core Center, where legacy core samples that have been drilled in the past are carefully preserved, allowing interaction with researchers conducting studies using legacy core samples obtained from the Southwest Indian Ocean. Attendees will explore the collection of core samples and the analysis using various devices. The event capacity is 40 people. Participants must be high school students or older. Pre-registration is required via the Geological Specimen Museum event URL. ■Remarks Photographs and videos may be taken during the event for the purpose of public relations activities by AIST.
