Asahidake, known for its early autumn leaves in Japan, boasts vibrant fall colors over a short period from mid to late September, allowing visitors to enjoy breathtaking scenery. A 10-minute ride on the ropeway from Asahidake Onsen leads to a one-hour walk around the Sugatami area. The colorful autumn foliage at your feet is one of the highlights, and you might even spot a Hokkaido squirrel if you're lucky. The Asahidake Onsen at the foot of the mountain offers high-quality hot springs, making it an ideal place to access.
