This exhibition showcases the works of Gustave Doré, a representative French illustrator of the 19th century, featuring his published collection "Dore Gallery" from 1870. The book is freely available for viewing. Inside, there is a leather bookplate from Henry Irving, a tragic actor from the UK. All illustrations in the book are wood engravings. Titles include the Bible, Divine Comedy, Don Quixote, and fables by Fontaine. Enjoy the exquisite and masterful techniques of these prints.
