Chia Yamada Exhibition: A Rainbow After the Rain and Fireworks in the Night Sky

This exhibition takes you on a journey through the warm world of living creatures created by sculptor Chia Yamada. The sculptural works, born from a combination of various techniques such as modeling and lacquer art, are finished using a technique called color rust, resulting in a soft texture. The contrast between matte and glossy areas creates a warm and gentle atmosphere, as if they are imbued with life. Like the faint rainbow seen after the rain, or the sound of fireworks heard from afar, this exhibition is filled with poetic sentiment.
