Yoshida Shosaburo's work 'A Bird's Eye View Map of Kanagawa Prefecture' and other bird's eye view maps drawn from the Taisho to early Showa periods not only introduce scenic spots portrayed with illustrations but also highlight the three-dimensional representation of terrain. This exhibition approaches the historical context that created these works from a humanities perspective and the scientific aspects of terrain representation from a natural science perspective.
