This exhibition showcases the accumulated works of Hayaki Mizushima, a painter residing in Kamo Town, Katsuta District, Okayama Prefecture, who has been creating works focusing on the theme of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki for over half a century. Marking the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings and 80 years since the end of the war, the exhibition introduces the artist's persistent pursuit of this theme. War is still occurring somewhere in the world. We hope this will serve as an opportunity for each individual to reconsider and face the issues of war and peace.
