Tracing the Past and Future through Contemporary Art
In this exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of the museum, approximately 180 works from the 1950s to the 1990s will be displayed, featuring notable artists such as the Concrete Art Association, the Experimental Workshop, Nakanishi Natsuyuki, Kawahara Akinobu, and Yayoi Kusama. The exhibition not only traces the history of post-war Japanese art but also showcases works by emerging artists that have been recently acquired, introducing the activities of the museum that connect the past to the future. Among them, 19 pieces including the large work 'No.B White' by the globally acclaimed Yayoi Kusama will be publicly displayed.
