Ominezan Cherry Blossom Park

Nationally designated natural monument "Tsubaki-daira Cherry Blossom Forest"
Ominezan, at an elevation of 399.5m, is located within the "Kushigata Mountain Range." This mountain is renowned for its Yama-zakura trees, and in 1934, the "Tsubaki-daira Cherry Blossom Forest" was designated as a national natural monument. The cherry blossom park features approximately 300 trees across 109 varieties of cherry blossoms from around the world. Walking paths have been established, and informational signboards with details about the cherry blossoms are placed, making it possible to enjoy cherry blossom viewing throughout the seasons.
