Rokkoku Festival

A festival related to the Time Memorial Day on June 10th
Based on the description in the 'Nihon Shoki' that on April 25, 10th year of Emperor Tenji, a water clock was used to announce the time with bells and drums, this festival is held annually to commemorate the establishment of Japan's time system. Representatives from the watch industry, dressed in royal court attire, along with four maidens in uchikake hakama, present new clock products offered by each manufacturer, expressing gratitude to the deity of time and praying for the industry's development and social prosperity. In the 7th year of Reiwa, they will perform 'Genjōraku'.
