The Forest of Stories - Kaidan Told with Kodan and Satsuma Biwa - The World of Koizumi Yakumo

A summer event enjoyed with Kodan and Biwa
Delivering the famous kaidan stories of Koizumi Yakumo that will be broadcast in the morning TV drama starting in the autumn of 2025. The first part will feature works by Koizumi Yakumo, while the second part will showcase classic kaidan storytelling, enjoyed through the 500-year-old Japanese traditional art form "Kodan" and the Japanese traditional instrument "Satsuma Biwa". Enjoy a moment of coolness in the hot summer with kaidan stories! Performers include Kanda Yamamuro (Kodan storyteller) and Kawashima Nobuko (Satsuma Biwa). Program includes, Kodan, Biwa solo, and Kodan + Biwa "Earless Hoichi". *No entry for preschool children.

From JR "Omori" Station West Exit and Tokyu Ikegami Line "Ikegami" Station, take the Tokyu Bus and get off at "Ota Bunka no Mori".
