The largest amateur music festival in the northern Kanto region, part of the Utsunomiya Citizen Arts Festival Light Music Festival that started in 2001. As the name 'Miya Street Gig' suggests, it is a music event conducted on the streets and public spaces of the city. Performances by numerous groups and artists, as well as street dance performances, unfold on the streets of the city center.
