Fire Walking Training: Otonashi River Kanzaki Riverside Festival

Giant Goma and Fire Walking Training
Departing from Kanzaki Temple known for its grand Goma prayers and training at noon, a procession through the town will take place, arriving at the dojo by the Tone River at 1:00 PM for the fire walking training. Starting this year, the event expands with a music festival featuring selected high school bands, and food stalls will be available at the venue for dining enjoyment. Fire walking will occur after the giant flames of Goma. General public participation in fire walking is encouraged to purify the body and mind and attract good fortune.
