76th Shimizu Port Festival - Fireworks Festival
Cheers to the Port! Hot Summer in Shimizu
The fireworks festival held at the finale of the Shimizu Port Festival. Approximately 10,000 fireworks are launched from two barges floating above Shimizu Port for about 60 minutes, without any breaks. The grand scale of the sound and light spectacle captivates the visitors at the venue. One of the features is that creative fireworks submitted by children are launched as well. This year too, the festival engraves the memories of the celebration strongly in the hearts of the citizens, as it comes to a close.
