The rare hand-held fireworks are a must-see!
A rare festival called "Hashi Matsuri" where a tower for the worship of chopsticks used in Ito Onsen is set on fire. The highlight is a fireworks display featuring about 1,500 fireworks launched in 30 minutes. Be sure not to miss the diagonal launch starmine and other fireworks unique to a seaside fireworks festival. Also, the hand-held fireworks that can be viewed up close are spectacular.
