The 20th Ashibetsu Forestry Festival Genki Morimori Festival
Delivering the wonders of wood from the town of forests, Ashibetsu
An event that PRs the wonderfulness of locally sourced timber from Ashibetsu, surrounded by rich nature where about 89% of the city is forest. It features exhibits of wood art processed using chainsaws, a log cutting experience, and a sales corner showcasing various woodworking products and wild vegetables made from Ashibetsu timber. In addition to exhibitions and demonstrations of high-performance forestry machinery, there are also free giveaways of chips, dust, and wood, as well as a lottery, making it enjoyable for both children and adults.
