Opera Theater Konnyakuza Performance – Opera 'An' in Seiyo City, Ehime Prefecture
Dorian Sukegawa's novel 'An' makes its operatic debut!
The opera 'An' was premiered in February 2022 as part of the 50th anniversary project of Konnyakuza (Part 3), and will begin a tour starting the following year. This performance is a general public show in Seiyo City, Ehime Prefecture. The original work is the novel 'An' by Dorian Sukegawa. It was adapted into a movie in 2015, and the novel has been translated into over 20 languages, lighting a flame in the hearts of people worldwide. The ultimate message conveyed is that within any life, there is a meaning to live.
