36th Noda Mikoshi Parade

The rain frog, black lion, and gold lion mikoshi all gather together!
The Noda Mikoshi Parade features several unique mikoshi and shinto portable shrines participating from the central shopping district of the city. The finale, where the mikoshi pass each other, is greatly enlivened by the rhythm of banging drums and clappers, and the excitement between the carriers and attendees. If you're lucky, you might see a two-pole mikoshi being maneuvered almost to the ground. During this moment, attendees hold their breath in silence, completely captivated by the carriers' movements. It's definitely worth seeing.
