Matsue Castle will celebrate its 10th anniversary of being designated as a national treasure on July 8, 2025. To commemorate this, the 26th Japan Castle Certification Exam will be held in Matsue! The Japan Castle Certification Exam is for everyone who loves castles. It's recommended for those who want to utilize it in tourism jobs, deepen their historical knowledge, or simply enjoy castle tours more. Surprisingly, in the Matsue venue, you can take the exam inside the castle (inside Kouunkaku). Moreover, those who take the exam at the Matsue venue will receive a limited edition castle stamp! Application deadline: May 22 (Thursday) ■Notes Exams can also be taken in Nagoya, Osaka, or online.
