The Takagimachi Kannonike Festival Fireworks Display features about 3000 fireworks that beautifully light up the night sky of Takagimachi. A sentimental fireworks display that heralds the end of summer in Takagimachi. The fireworks that color the summer of Miyakonojō are a must-see beauty. During the day, traditional Hanazumo rituals and stage events are held to pray for the safety of the Kannonike embankment and for a bountiful harvest.
