This collection introduces the watercolor and drawing works of Yoshinosuke Ebiwara, about five years after the last showcase. Ebiwara was born in 1904 in Kagoshima City, moved to France, and studied under Tsuguharu Foujita. He thrived in the Paris art scene with a painting style characterized by blue and white known as 'Ebi-hara blue', and upon returning to Japan, he had a significant influence on those around him with his richly composed works. Ebiwara left many masterpieces with a sense of form cultivated through daily sketches and unique, emotionally charged expressions; come see his dynamic works at the venue.
