Himeji City Tegara Mountain Greenhouse Botanical Garden - Exhibition of Endangered Species of Harima

An exhibit showcasing 100 endangered species that can be found in the local environment of the Harima region, cultivated and preserved by the botanical garden. This botanical garden is the first in the prefecture to discover the Chinese chive (Nirabaran) and the rare red Toki (Tokisou) in wetland areas. Moreover, plants named by Tomitaro Makino, who is the model for NHK's morning drama 'Ranman', such as Koyasunoki and Chitosekazura, are also planned to be displayed. There will also be easy-to-understand panel displays. An explanation session about endangered species will be held every Sunday at 11 AM during the exhibition.
