2025 Okayama Sakura Carnival

"Asahigawa Sakura Road" is known as a famous cherry blossom spot nationwide, located near "Okayama Korakuen" and "Okayama Castle." Every year during the cherry blossom season of the Somei Yoshino trees that stretch about 1km along the eastern bank of the Asahigawa River, the "Okayama Sakura Carnival" is held. The venue is lined with numerous stalls, bustling with many tourists and cherry blossom viewers from both inside and outside the prefecture. During the event, the cherry trees are illuminated from sunset until 21:00, allowing visitors to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of nighttime cherry blossoms.
