European Attire: Focusing on the 19th to 20th Centuries

European society, having undergone technological innovations during the Industrial Revolution, advanced toward modernization, and in the realm of beauty, cosmetics and techniques that directly link to the makeup we do today emerged, influencing Japan's makeup culture as well. In the exhibition <Art>, we will showcase collection items related to European adornments from the 19th to 20th centuries, such as makeup sets, perfume bottles, and fans. In <Books>, we will introduce books based on six themes expanded from the keyword 'influence'.
