Akashi Park Sakura Festival

The first of the three major flower festivals in Hekinan, the Sakura Festival is being held again this year! How about enjoying cherry blossom viewing under the fully bloomed sakura? The colorful light-up illuminates the cherry blossoms in different colors, allowing you to enjoy a different atmosphere from the daytime. Furthermore, events such as a market, street performances, and a petting zoo are also planned for the weekend, making it a guaranteed fun time with family and friends!

Access

From the Handan IC on the Chita Peninsula Expressway, head east on Prefectural Road 34, and it takes about 25 minutes to get north at the "Minato Honcho" intersection.

Access (Public)

Transfer at Meitetsu Hon Line Chiryu Station or JR Line Kariya Station, take Meitetsu Mikawa Line bound for "Hekinan", and get off at "Kitashinkawa" Station. It’s about a 10-minute walk.
