67th Honbetsu Yamakake Tsutsuji Festival

Flower viewing event at Yoshitsune no Sato Honbetsu Park
An event held every year when 16,000 Ezo-murasaki azaleas and 2,000 Ezo-yamazakura cherry trees bloom all at once in the venue, Honbetsu Park. The festival's highlight is the jumbo Yoshitsune pot, approximately 2m in diameter, where pork soup made with local ingredients from Honbetsu is prepared. Additionally, there are plenty of free activities to enjoy, including stage shows, bingo tournaments, and the ever-popular 'Fluffy Land' for children!
