38th Kirin Lion Marathon
Run while looking at the Japan Sea!
The 38th Kirin Lion Marathon. Many runners from all over Japan gather and run vigorously while receiving the beautiful sea breeze of the Japan Sea. Starting from Shio-kaze Street in front of the Shinonsen Town Office, the course is a turnaround course that goes through Hamazaka Kenmin Sun Beach and finishes at Hamazaka Kita Elementary School, with distances of Half, 10km, 5km, and 3km. The course that runs through the sea, mountains, and the town of Hamazaka is a spectacular view! The venue will welcome participating runners with the offering of sardine meatball soup, a fun lottery, and a display of local performing arts, Kirin Lion Dance.
