From the Taisho to the early Showa period, the entire Hekikai-gun area saw remarkable agricultural development, and it was referred to as "Japan's Denmark" by multiple media outlets. In particular, the Anjo City area underwent significant changes during this period, attracting visitors from all over Japan as a model of progressive practices. However, this advancement was supported not only by the power of the administration but also by the actions of the people. This exhibition focuses on the collection of the museum to introduce the agricultural practices and lifestyles of the era when Hekikai-gun was called "Japan's Denmark."
