Hirosaki Sakura Festival

Hirosaki Park boasts approximately 2,600 cherry trees of 52 varieties, including Somei Yoshino, weeping cherry, and double cherry blossoms, creating a stunning contrast against the greenery of the ancient pines. At night, the illuminated cherry blossoms float on the surface of the moat, creating a fantastical atmosphere. Enjoy the seven recommended views of cherry blossoms by Hirosaki Park's cherry blossom keeper, the "Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Seven Views," the seven carefully selected varieties of double cherry blossoms, "Hirosaki Seven Cherry Blossoms," and the "Hirosaki Nanrin-zaki Sakura" which blooms seven flowers from one bud.
