Tomoe River Sweetfish Festival & Sweetfish Fishing Tournament

The 'Sweetfish Festival' features events such as sweetfish catching, a sale of wild sweetfish, and a sweetfish fishing tournament. The popular sweetfish catching experience is targeted at children below elementary school age. Each child can catch up to 2 fish, with time restrictions. The taste of freshly caught sweetfish grilled on-site is exceptional! The sweetfish sale ends when sold out. The sweetfish fishing tournament is sure to be exciting. Participants under 18 should be accompanied by a guardian. Sponsored by the Tomoe River Fishing Cooperative. ■ Notes For the catching experience, it is useful to have clothes and shoes that can get wet, as well as children's gloves. This is a popular event, so early attendance is recommended.

Take the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway 'Toyota Kanpachi' IC, drive 15 km towards Iida on National Route 153 (to Korankei)

Access (Public)

Get off at Meitetsu Toyota Line Jyousui Station, take the Toyota Oiden Bus headed to Hyakunen-so and get off at 'Korankei', approximately a 3-minute walk.
