Tosa Akaoka Dorome Festival

A festival that reflects the character of Tosa people, enjoying fresh dorome and local sake on the beach, featuring events such as fishing boat parades and brass band performances. The main event is the 'Big Cup Drinking Contest', where men down 1.8L and women down 0.9L in one go, competing in total scores based on the time taken to drink and drinking prowess. *Ticket sales are handled by the Konan City Tourist Association (0887-56-5200) and inquiries about the Big Cup Drinking Contest can be made to the Konan City Chamber of Commerce (0887-54-3014)

- 10:30-11:00 Reception for participation in the Big Cup Drinking Contest at the main office next to the stage. If there are more than 20 participants, selection will take place. Participation fee is 2,000 yen per person.
