The summer highlight event of Amakusa, "Amakusa Hondo Hiraya Festival." The "Child Hiraya" and "Amakusa Hondo Fireworks Festival" will take place on July 26 (Saturday), and "Dōchū Sō Odori" will be held on August 9 (Saturday).

- "Child Hiraya" on July 26 (Saturday) around 19:00, "Fireworks Festival" on July 26 (Saturday) from 20:20 to 20:40 (held in rain, no postponement, canceled in bad weather). "Dōchū Sō Odori" will be held on August 9 (Saturday) from 18:30 to 20:30 (postponed to August 10 in case of rain).
