The 30th Rakusai Sakura Festival 2025

Promoting the charm of cherry blossoms in the Rakusai area!
The Rakusai area is renowned for its approximately 800 cherry trees lining the Obata River, in addition to famous varieties like the Sengen Cherry (Oharano Shrine), the Narihira Cherry (Juurinji Temple), and the Saigyo Cherry (Katchuji Temple), making it one of the premier cherry blossom spots in the city. To widely promote the charm of the cherry blossoms in the Rakusai area, the 'Rakusai Sakura Festival' will be held as a spring event enjoyed by both children and adults. You can enjoy a stage, exhibits and experience booths, food stalls, and workshops. Don't miss the night cherry blossom illumination at Obata River!
