A culmination of over 50 years of artistic activity by Shizuka Kusano, a leading figure in Japanese embroidery. This time, we will showcase kimono and curtain embroidery, each stitched with care, inspired by the princesses from the Tale of Genji. The 9th work of the 'Sakura Diary', which has been produced every ten years, will be premiered. Shizuka Kusano has stated, 'Japanese embroidery is an art that expresses the patterns of the heart,' and will exhibit around 200 pieces that promote the world of Japanese embroidery.
