[Sakura Viewing] Takasu Central Park

A park that is counted among the thirty scenic spots of Akita tourist attractions. The landscape of the pond and trees soothes visitors, and it is loved throughout the four seasons. Especially in spring, about 800 cherry trees, centered on Somei Yoshino, bloom gloriously, allowing enjoyment of the cherry blossoms reflecting on the lake surface and the fantastical night cherry blossoms that are illuminated.

The event date is a guideline for the best viewing period, which may vary due to climate and other factors. Illuminations will be held in accordance with the blooming period (17:00 to 21:00). Takasu Central Park has good air circulation, so it is recommended to wear warm clothing.
