Kenji Sasaoka, who served as the first chief assistant to the late manga artist Shigeru Mizuki, lives in Asahi-cho, Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture. He says that monsters 'exist' in various places to unravel the mysteries of harsh nature and social injustices. About 50 local monsters illustrated by Kenji Sasaoka will be displayed as the main focus.
