Miyauchi Festival
Mikoshi lovers gather!
A summer tradition where the mikoshi of the Miyauchi Association, a group of mikoshi lovers in Utsunomiya, parades through the city to liven up the downtown area on the first Sunday of July. Starting at Banba Square on the approach to Futarasan Shrine, the procession marches through Banba Street and Orion Street with cheers.
