Tenpaku Gekidan 7th Main Performance "Beyond the Blue Sky - The Female Students Who Made the Streetcar Run"

Their youth certainly existed there.
In April 1943, Hiroshima Electric Railway established the Hiroshima Electric Railway Home Economics Women's School to quickly train replacements for the decreasing number of male drivers. 309 girls aged 14 to 17 studied and worked there. The school dissolved in the fall of 1945 without producing a single graduate. Yet, their youth certainly existed there. The Tenpaku Gekidan presents its 7th main performance 80 years after the war. Tickets are on sale at cultural small theater counters in Nagoya and on the electronic ticket site Teket.
