2025 Biwako Grand Fireworks Festival

Shiga Prefecture, a space surrounded by mountains, expands rich nature centered around Lake Biwa, a symbol of Shiga. This year's theme for the grand fireworks festival at Lake Biwa is "Let's go♪ Shiga・Lake Biwa ~Shining Lake Fireworks~". About 10,000 fireworks including star mines and 3–10 inch shells will be launched, attracting many visitors from both inside and outside the prefecture each year as one of the country's premier fireworks festivals.
