[Flowers / Peak Bloom] Lotus at Ritsurin Garden

Beautiful lotus blooming in the lotus pond

Ritsurin Garden

Early Jul~Late Aug 05:30~19:00

Ritsurin Garden, designated as a special scenic spot by the national government, is the largest garden in terms of area and is set against the backdrop of Mount Shiun. It skillfully incorporates six ponds and thirteen mounds, featuring an excellent layout and stonework that are representative of an early Edo-period strolling garden, rich in the elegance of wood and stone. In summer, the pond, affectionately known as the 'lotus pond', blossoms with lotus flowers that have been blooming since the feudal era.
