Reishoji Temple

Late Oct~Early Nov

In the 11th year of Oei (1404), Norikata Nishina invited Ryoshū Jitsumine from Noto Jōkō-ji to establish the temple, considered the oldest Soto sect temple in Nagano Prefecture. Beside the mountain gate stands a rare large Ohatsuki Ginkgo Tree, with a height of about 17 meters, which stands out significantly. In addition, there are many other trees such as cherry, maple, and azalea in the precincts and surrounding areas, attracting many tourists during the autumn foliage season.
