Mantou Festival

The most auspicious day of the year
At Fudosan, July 10 is said to be the most auspicious day of the year, and visiting on this day is believed to bring the benefits of 46,000 days. It is said that if you offer light to the main deity, the Yakuyoke Kannon, on this day, the benefits are doubled. July 9 and 10 have long been called the 'Mantou Festival,' where thousands of lanterns are dedicated in front of the main hall, creating a mystical atmosphere on summer nights. There will be various events including imitation live performances, dance shows, and a gathering of gourmet food stalls and food trucks.
