Kinpo Furusato Summer Festival
1,000 fireworks light up the summer night sky
The "Kinpo Furusato Summer Festival" is held on August 15, after the harvest of Kinpo Koshihikari rice during the Obon season. Many returnees come to the event, and it is a lively gathering of familiar faces sharing old stories and recent updates. The festival features the Kinpo Gongen Taiko, various events, and many food stalls, bustling with numerous returnees. A lottery with luxurious prizes and 1,000 fireworks light up the summer night sky.
