The 18th Oki Island Ultra Marathon
Now is the time to liven up the island
The Oki Island Ultra Marathon is a marathon event set on Oki Island, floating in the Sea of Japan. The course goes all the way around the island, allowing runners to enjoy the morning sun on the east side and the sunset on the west side. It is said to be one of Japan's most difficult courses due to the steep ups and downs, but the warm cheers from the island community are wonderful and support the runners. There are two categories: the 100km division and the 50km division.
